Scope of service

Deck Pro SD is a referral service. We match San Diego County homeowners with licensed, insured local deck contractors. We do not perform construction work, we do not hold a contractor license, and we do not price the work. The content on this site is informational: pricing ranges and recommendations reflect general market conditions at the time of writing and may change. Nothing on this site is a quote, a contract, or a guarantee of a specific price or outcome.

Service agreements

Work is governed by a separate written service agreement between you and the licensed contractor matched to your job, which you receive before work begins. That agreement, not this site, sets the price, the scope, warranty terms, cancellation policy, and payment terms for the work performed. You contract with and pay that contractor directly.

Intellectual property

All content on this site, including written copy, images, and branding, belongs to Deck Pro SD unless otherwise noted. You may read, share links to, and quote briefly with attribution. Please do not reproduce entire articles, images, or branded materials without permission.

Third-party links

We may link to third-party sites (manufacturer documentation, building departments, the CSLB license lookup, etc.). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

Limitation of liability

Information on this site is provided as-is without warranty. Where work is performed under a signed service agreement, liability for that work sits with the contractor who performed it, on the terms of that agreement. For DIY advice on the blog, follow it at your own discretion and stop if anything feels unsafe.
